you know what i relate to this concept a lot on a metaphorical level, the process of healing and recovering from something awful and having to peel back layers and layers of what happened and slowly realising that everything was so much worse than you could have ever thought months or even years after the fact is very real and i think this story idea is awesome. we need more stories like this
